“The PJCC helped build a foundation of Jewish values for my children and instilled in them the importance of community.”

The day after October 7, 2023, Lisa Joy Rosner and her family found solace when a friend steered them to a PJCC gathering. Crossing the doors, they felt safe and at home. That comfort echoed a decision made 15 years earlier, when Lisa Joy and her husband, Sheldon Berg, chose PJCC Preschool for their children’s early education. Ever since, the family has volunteered at Latkepalooza, MLK Day of Service, and Yom Yisrael. Guided by tikkun olam, they now watch with pride as their kids give back to the center that helped raise them.
