My Mitzvah Garden

Session 2 • 6/30-7/11
Watching a garden grow is one of the most exciting experiences for a young child. Campers learn about Jewish values that teach us to protect the earth, and why beautifying the planet is a mitzvah (good deed)! They learn how plants grow through art, science, and hands-on gardening.

Outer Space Adventure

Session 3 • 7/14 – 7/25
Why is the sun hot? Why does the moon glow white at night? Why do the stars twinkle? Through art and science projects, books, and visuals, your camper will come home with the answers about the skies above them!

Butterflies and Beetles

Session 4 • 7/28 – 8/8
Bugs — whether they fly or crawl, children are fascinated with insects. Campers learn the importance of bugs and their contributions in nature. “Create” bugs and insects with cooking and art projects.
