Release, Relax, and Restore – Thursdays, 12:00 -1:10 pm This Yoga class will start with meditation and breath work to help the body move gently into each Asana or yoga pose. Release, Relax, & Restore has a slower pace, with less intense positions than most Hatha classes you will find on the PJCC Group Exercise schedule, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t improve your mind, body and spirit because it does!! Doing this class will lead to improved lung capacity, strengthened breathing muscles, increased resilience in muscles and overall physical function, digestion, circulation and immunity. The second half of the class, will use postures in a supported manner with props to minimize strain and maximize opening. Appropriate for all levels of fitness.
