This moderate-intensity class will have something for everyone. After a good warm-up, we will train as if we are superheroes! Be prepared to safely work your body to maintain muscle mass and increase strength. After our superhero training, we will treat our bodies with care and comfort. Strength is important, but being able to move smoothly through a normal range of motion is also imperative to moving our bodies effectively and without pain. Mobility and flexibility training will help us to maintain our ability to move without pain. Ankles, hips, shoulders, and back are some of the areas we will work our magic, increasing the range of the joints and muscles. Equipment we may use includes foam rollers, tennis balls or other small balls for self-massage, straps for stretching, and elastic loops or bands.
