Supporters at the $1,000 level will be invited to at least one Exclusive Chai Society event; $1,800+ and $3,600+ levels will receive invitations to additional events; $5,000 level and above will receive special recognition throughout the year.
Chai Society Levels of Giving
- Tzadikim Circle: $10,000 and above annually.
- Mitzvah Circle: $5,000–$9,999 annually.
- Hasidim Circle: $3,600–$4,999 annually.
- Malachim Circle: $1,800–$3,599 annually.
- Mensch Circle: $1,000–$1,799 annually.
The Chai Society includes gifts that are unrestricted or restricted gifts to specific programs at the PJCC each year.

Dinner and a Movie Short with Rabbi Lavey Derby

Have we got an evening for you! It’s under wraps—but here are some hints: enjoy a gourmet dinner, munch on your favorite movie snacks, sip a glass of one of Rabbi Lavey’s favorite Scotches, and catch a short* film with Rabbi Lavey. Then we’ll engage in an intimate evening of thought-provoking conversation about the film’s Jewish themes. For Malachim Circle supporters ($1,800 and above).

VIP Reception: Violins of Hope Opening Program Featuring Amnon and Avshalom Weinstein

Join us for a VIP dinner reception held. Mingle with the father and son duo who restored the Violins of Hope. At 7:30 pm, North Peninsula Jewish Community scholar-in-residence Dr. Michael Berenbaum will interview the Weinsteins about their labor of love. For all Chai Supporters ($1,000 and above).

Enjoy a taste of what the PJCC has to offer, with the opportunity to experience a concert or lecture of your choice throughout the year! Two tickets to the event of your choice will be offered to current Chai Society supporters annually, depending on availability. Please note that complimentary tickets are not available for every event.
