SUMMARY:Food for Thought: Drawn Together\, How Art Connects through Time and Space
DESCRIPTION:Drawn Together: How Art Connects through Time and Space  \nJoin author and artist Wanda Peretz for an illustrated journey into the vibrant world of Eastern Europe’s lost wooden synagogues. Through archival photographs\, Jewish folk art\, and her own creative story\, Wanda explores how the extraordinary painted ceiling of the Gwoździec synagogue connected her with two eighteenth-century Jewish artists and contemporary Israeli painter Boris Shapiro. Their art inspired her book\, The Ceiling\, and a continuing mission to bring this rich Jewish heritage to life through storytelling\, historical preservation\, and creative experiences for a new generation.
