DESCRIPTION:Monday\, August 5\, 2024 9:30 AM –  3:30 PM PT \n\nCalifornia State Capitol – Swing Space\, 1021 O St\, Sacramento\, CA 95814 \n\nJoin JPAC and the California Jewish community in Sacramento for an urgent mobilization to help push AB 2918 across the finish line. Testify during the bill’s final Senate committee hearing\, lobby legislators for their support\, and join a press conference. \nAB 2918\, a top priority for JPAC and the Jewish Caucus\, adds common sense guardrails and implementation requirements to protect K-12 ethnic studies from bias and discrimination. \nWe’ll meet at 9:30am at the State Capitol Swing Space\, 1021 O Street. Upon registering\, look out for additional logistics the week prior. \nThere is no cost to attend\, but please plan to cover your own travel and food expenses.
