SUMMARY:Sukkot\, Safety & Support: A Lunch & Learn with Shalom Bayit
DESCRIPTION:The sukkah invites us to reflect on vulnerability\, shelter\, and safety—making Sukkot a particularly meaningful time to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month. \nJoin Rabbi Zoe McCoon of Shalom Bayit\, the Bay Area’s Jewish center for domestic violence response and prevention\, to explore the stories of lesser-known women in Jewish texts\, deepen our understanding of abuse today and learn how we can better recognize and support people in our communities who may be experiencing domestic violence. \nBring your own lunch; Shalom Bayit will provide dessert. No prior Jewish learning needed.
