To ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all, please follow these policies while using the PJCC fitness areas. If you have any safety concerns, please speak to a PJCC staff member.
– PJCC staff will address any behavior found in contradiction to these rules and reserve the right to take action per our Member Guidelines.
– Children under 13 are not allowed in Fitness East & West.
– Inappropriate behavior that adversely affects fellow members and staff, including (but not limited to) yelling, loud grunting, and foul or abusive language, will not be tolerated at any time.
– Cell phone conversations are not allowed.
– Due to member privacy concerns, livestreaming is not allowed at any time. Photography and videos are permitted; however, unless expressly agreed upon by all parties, no other PJCC members or staff may be in the photos/videos in any manner. PJCC reserves the right to take video and photographs in our fitness areas for marketing and other purposes.
– Headphones required when listening to music or watching videos with sound on your personal device. No boomboxes or personal speakers.
– No food is allowed on the fitness floor.
– Please help us ensure a clean and orderly fitness area. Wipe down machines, mats, and weights after your workout, and return free weights and other equipment to their proper place after use.
– Do not drop weights or lean weights against walls, mirrors, or machines.
– Close-toed athletic shoes must be worn in all fitness areas. Sandals, slippers, foam clogs, or flip flops are not allowed.
– Please refrain from wearing heavily scented colognes, perfumes, or lotions.
– Personal belongings such as gym bags, handbags, coats, etc. are not allowed in the fitness areas. Please store these in the locker room prior to your workout.
– Powdered chalk or other similar substances used for weight training are not permitted.
– You may not reserve machines or workout areas.
– When doing multiple sets on weight machines, allow fellow members to work in.
– Please do not use weight equipment as a place to rest between sets, especially when others are waiting.
– Please adhere to the 30-minute time limit when others are waiting for the cardiovascular equipment.
