As part of our Embrace the Earth program, we’ll focus on two areas where you can take personal steps that lead to big change. In April, we’ll focus on choosing a whole-foods, plant-based diet. In May, we’ll concentrate on reducing our use of plastics in favor of reusable and renewable packaging.

Research is unveiling how much plastic we consume in our food, beverages, and the air we breathe. Scientists recently found plastics in our blood and lungs. We urgently need inclusive solutions to drastically reduce the amount of plastics entering the environment—solutions that require a shift away from the current model of excessive plastic consumption. Learn more about the plastic crisis from Plastic Free Future founders, Alejandra Warren and Dr. Matt Warren. Dr. Warren will introduce us to the science behind the plastic crisis and Alejandra will discuss the solutions that could lead us to a healthier, cleaner, plastic free future.
