Live & Virtual Women on Weights (WOW) Training*

WOW, what a workout! In this small-group program, our certified personal trainers lead you through the basic fundamentals and benefits of strength training, with guidance tailored to the specific fitness needs of women. Classes are filling; limited space available.

Join Rabbi Lavey every Monday morning at 9:30 for 30 minutes of guided meditation to help us find our center and to cultivate calm during this unusual time.

10:30-11:15 am Stretch & Strengthen with Chris L. (Open to the Public)
Improve your mobility & strength through this low and moderate intensity program.

12:00-12:45 pm Tai Chi with Irene
The flowing and fluid jian (Tai Chi) movements are meditative and will help you build your body’s strength and sharpen your mind. This class will introduce the fundamental elements of jian and study the 49 postures of the Chen style jian.

5:00-5:45 pm Core Conditioning with Michele M.
Core training can improve the way you look and feel. Core strength is associated with less back pain and better posture.

6:00-6:45 pm U-Jam with Joyce
Join Joyce as she leads you through this athletic dance program with music and flair from all over the world.

Cancer Exercise Trainer Vicki McGrath (ACSM EP, HDF, CET) leads this exercise class designed for all breast cancer survivors (whether you are newly diagnosed or 20 years out). Open to the whole community!

This workout will combine Mat Pilates techniques: lengthening, tightening and toning the whole body with an emphasis on the core.

5:00-5:45 pm DanceMix with Shar
Amazing energy and style is coming your way when you get in the groove at DanceMix. If you like to sweat and dance, this is the class for you!

12:00 pm Zumba with Kim
Join Kim as she dances to Latin and Top 40 music while putting a smile on your face and good energy through your soul.

This class will hold poses for an extended period of time, increasing one’s flexibility and helping with relaxation. Appropriate for all levels of fitness.

4:00-4:30 pm Lovingkindness Meditation with Rabbi Lavey Derby (Open to the Public; Pre-registration Required)
In this meditation, we silently repeat blessings of lovingkindness for ourselves and others. Join Rabbi Lavey in this practice that opens the heart and cultivates compassion. Registration and password required; join via Zoom at start time.

5:00-5:45 pm Zumba with Sandra C
Kick off the evening with a party! Sandra C brings you an energetic mix of dance moves set to Latin, Top 40, and hip hop beats.

Please note: Free access to Les Mills workouts has been made available by the PJCC via your desktop or mobile browser. Use of the Les Mills app is not provided by PJCC and therefore requires a download, as well as registration for a 14-day trial membership, after which a fee for service is required.

This platform offers 95 of the most popular youth and adult Les Mills training workouts across eight categories. They are easy to follow and designed for varied fitness levels and ages. Be adventurous, try new workouts as well as those formats you already love. We encourage you to use this time to lean into your personal fitness and wellness, stay optimistic, and have some fun.
