A Brief History of the PJCC
The PJCC, established in 1948, is a non-profit organization. It began and continues as a gathering ground for community-and relationship-building. In 2004, the PJCC opened the doors to a spectacular facility in Foster City, on a 12-acre campus where we are able to serve the entire North Peninsula community, providing a range of health, educational and cultural programs and services. PJCC proudly serves several thousand members who reflect diversity in all manner of identities—including age, race, ethnicity and religion. In addition to sharing our campus and many facilities with the Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School (K-8), we boast a state-of-the-art Health, Fitness & Aquatics facility, an award-winning Early Childhood Education program, after school and summer camp programs, senior transportation and services, educational seminars, an extensive array of Jewish programming, and wide-ranging cultural programs and exhibitions.
