Accepting applications for the 2021–2022 Board Year
PJCC seeks new candidates to join the Board of Directors for three-year terms beginning in July 2021. We welcome and celebrate diversity, and candidates from all cultures, religions, genders, races, backgrounds and professional experiences are encouraged to apply!
Established in 1948, PJCC is a non-profit, mission-driven organization. We began and proudly continue today as a unifying gathering-ground for community-and relationship-building.
In 2004, the PJCC opened our doors to a spectacular facility in Foster City, on a 12-acre campus where we are able to serve the entire North Peninsula community, providing a range of health, education, and cultural programs and services.
PJCC proudly serves thousands of community members who reflect diversity in all manner of identities — including age, race, ethnicity and religion.
In addition to sharing our campus and many facilities with the Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School (K-8), we boast a state-of-the-art Health, Fitness & Aquatics facility, an award-winning Early Childhood Education program, a wait-listed after school enrichment program, beloved seasonal day camps, senior transportation and services, educational seminars, an extensive array of Jewish programming, and wide-ranging cultural programs and exhibitions.
If the PJCC’s inclusionary community impact appeals to your sense of service, please consider applying to join our engaged Board of Directors to support the mission of the PJCC through ambassadorship, committee collaborations, and connection-making to benefit fundraising.
This is a great opportunity to expand your career and learn hands-on the workings of a non-profit organization, from seasoned leaders in the non-profit world.
