Yoga

Gentle Yoga

A slow, meditative and calm practice. Use gentle movements to welcome soft openings and mind/body awareness.

Hatha Yoga

Promote balance, flexibility, and increased muscular strength through poses, breathing, and meditation.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Build flexibility, strength, and mental focus in this dynamic practice that concentrates on the synchronization of breath and continuous flow of movement.

Relax and Enjoy: Yoga Nidra & Meditation Workshop

Saturday, April 28 •  1:00  – 3:00 pm

$40/Members & $50/Public

Join us for a workshop that will help you improve sleep and overall well being; reduce stress and anxiety; reset the mind to a slower brain wave function; and develop presence and a plan for a daily home practice. The class is led by Melissa, a 500 E-RYT Vinyasa teacher with an emphasis in Ashtanga, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is a slow fluid practice to warm the body up and then it is followed by deep relaxation and meditation. It is also a mind-body practice that can help with sleep and anxiety disorders outside the yoga studio.

What is Meditation and Mindful Training?

Meditation is a practice to still and calm the mind. Pranayama, or breath control practices, help energize and cleanse the body. The blend of one point focus and mindful breath helps to reduce stress and anxiety.
