Special Guest Speaker

Lily Robinson

Lily Leibovitch Robinson was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in June of 1939, just two months before the beginning of WWII. She will share her story of how she and her family, along with the majority of the Jewish population, survived the Holocaust in Bulgaria with the help of the Bulgarian people, the Russian Orthodox Church, and the King. Alone with two small children, Lily’s mother was faced with food shortages, constant Nazi presence, and protecting her children with her life.
