With Kori’s expert, attentive guidance, you’ll experience ballet fundamentals as a means of learning technique, having fun, and enhancing your overall fitness. Stay in shape, challenge your mind, and let yourself glow as you focus on basic ballet techniques, posture, core strength, and balance. Whether you’re completely new to ballet or wish to return to the basics in a welcoming group setting, this class is for you!
Wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement (tights and leotards not required). Participants must wear ballet shoes, which can be purchased online from Amazon or dance supply websites for less than $20.

About the Instructor: Kori M.
Kori grew up in Japan and started her dancing career at 5 years old. As her practice developed, she came to love contemporary ballet, which is a combination of classical ballet technique and modern dance. At 17. she danced at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Later, she fell in love with ballroom dance and started dancing in Ballroom Dance Competitions across Japan.
Throughout her career, Kori has taught many styles of dance. As an instructor, her goal is to provide the opportunity for everyone to feel and experience the joy of dance. She believes that, by learning the fundamentals of ballet, you can improve your skills and abilities in all kinds of dance.
