Melody Yan is a Guzheng player, educator, and performer from Sichuan, China. She adapts American classic and contemporary music to Chinese guzheng to create her unique branch of fusion music, mixing the rich tone of the West with the charm of the East. She founded Melody Yan Fusion Music group in seeking to bridge East West cultures. Melody had the honors to play at the United Nations headquarters in 2013, and Bay Area Council in 2015, to appear in TV interviews with CBS and NBC.
