9:00 AM – Hostage Square Virtual Tour
Take a virtual tour through Hostage Square, the plaza in front of the Tel Aviv Art Museum, where Israelis have gathered since October 7th to honor those missing and held hostage. This live session will guide us through the evolving art installations and emotional landscape of this important gathering place.
9:45 AM – Responses to October 7th in Israeli Music and Art
Explore how Israeli musicians have responded to the events of October 7th by expressing grief, hope, and resilience, through videos of their work and performances. We will also witness some deeply moving artistic responses by Shoshka, a beloved Israeli visual artist grappling with
the emotional toll of October 7th through creative expression.
10:15 AM – Get Out, Look Screening & Conversation
Witness the premiere of this powerful piece of video art by our own Oded Liphshitz.
A 15-minute visual representation of a haunting poem about October 7th, from the perspective of someone holding the door of their Safe Room shut. Witness the inner struggle of fear, loss, and uncertainty while anxiously anticipating what chaos lies beyond the door.

11:30 AM – Artistic Responses to October 7th in Music
A second opportunity to experience the powerful ways music has been used to process and reflect on the tragedy of October 7th.
12:00 PM – Get Out, Look Second Screening
A repeat showing of Get Out, Look, offering another chance to experience this visceral artistic interpretation of the October 7th events, followed by a talk-back with Oded about his film.
12:45 PM – Yizkor Video and Final Reflections
Conclude with a Yizkor memorial video and final reflections as we honor those lost and grapple with the lasting impact of October 7th.
