Welcome to PJ Library!
PJ Library is a transformative program that gifts free, high-quality Jewish children’s books to families across the globe every month. These carefully selected stories ignite meaningful conversations within families, encouraging them to delve into and celebrate the richness of Jewish life, values, and culture. This incredible initiative is brought to you by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering vibrant Jewish communities and connecting individuals to their Jewish roots.
At PJ Library, we understand the importance of nurturing a child’s growth with stories that reflect their developmental stages. From the tender age of infancy through to the cusp of adolescence, our team of educators and literary experts handpicks the finest Jewish literature. For children aged 0-8 in North America, we select an age-appropriate board book, picture book, or early chapter book each month. Meanwhile, readers aged 9-12 have the exciting opportunity to choose their own middle-grade book from a diverse collection of fiction, nonfiction, and graphic novels.
