Mary Hargrove: A highly accomplished flutist and instructor with years of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area. She teaches flute at the College of San Mateo and performs with local orchestras, ballet companies, and Broadway productions. A member of the Opera San Jose orchestra, Mary has also worked as an extra musician with the San Francisco Opera. Additionally, she is a longtime member of the Lamplighters Music Theatre Company, where she performs works by Gilbert and Sullivan as well as other operettas.
Janice Gunderson: A professional accompanist, choral director, and teacher with extensive experience in performance and education. She has collaborated with singers, instrumentalists, and theatrical productions and has served on the faculties of the College of San Mateo, Cañada College, and Notre Dame de Namur University. From 1997 to 2011, Janice was the Music Director of Peninsula Cantare and previously spent a decade as Assistant Conductor of Masterworks Chorale. Prior to the pandemic, she directed the Peninsula Choraliers, a women’s ensemble. Currently, she serves as Choir Director at Hope Lutheran Church in San Mateo.
