Celebrate #GivingTuesday with the PJCC!
In the morning, create hygiene kits at our Count Me In social impact table. Then in the afternoon, meet the Development, Membership, and Cultural Arts teams to help create a Chesed (Kindness) Map inspired by the work of Karey Kessler, currently on display in the PJCC Art Gallery’s exhibition Hillel: Radical Kindness.
9:30–11:00 am: Join PJCC’s Development and Count Me In social impact teams for a Mitzvah (good deed) Minute volunteer opportunity! Put together hygiene kits and write cards of encouragement for WeHOPE’s program, Dignity on Wheels.
3:00–5:00 pm: Join local artist Neil Murphy in creating a Chesed (Kindness) Map inspired by the work of Karey Kessler, currently on display in the PJCC Art Gallery’s exhibition “Hillel: Radical Kindness.” Our community creation will hang alongside her work for the final month of the show. No experience necessary. Participation is on a drop-in basis and will only take a few minutes.
Can’t join us in person? Please consider making a tax-deductible donation! Your gift—of any amount—will support the PJCC’s life-changing nonprofit work. One meaningful gesture could change someone’s life.
