Beginning Drawing & Watercolors (Youth)
Sunday, September 28 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Budding artists will learn how to paint with traditional watercolor techniques, including layering transparent washes, building color gradation, and using tones and values to create forms. Students will learn how to think creatively and see that what is ordinary can become extraordinary in a painting! Instructor will provide step-by-step demonstrations to the group as well as individual guidance. Students will create their artwork using reference materials (still-life, paintings, book illustrations, or photographs). Registration required. This class is for ages 8-17 years old.
