Chama Mechtaly attended college at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts in the United States, studying conflict resolution and international relations. There, she became intrigues on the Jewish concept of tikkun olam and and to aid in building peaceful relations between Muslim and Jewish communities in the Middle East. We are lucky that her multimedia art will fill our Gallery this fall, and that she will spend three days in residence with our community! More information coming soon,
