The Jewish people are not outsiders in the Middle East; they are one of its oldest Indigenous civilizations. In this paradigm-shifting talk, Chama Mechtaly challenges the colonial narrative that casts Jews as foreigners, exposing how Islamist ideologies have weaponized decolonial language to erase Indigenous minorities; Jews, Amazigh, Kurds, Copts, Yazidis… and proposes a new solidarity framework for reclaiming ancestral roots and restoring the region’s future.

Meet the artist over Moroccan tea with a chance to explore and buy her jewelry prior to the presentation starting at 6:45 PM
