October 30, 2024 @ 2:00 pm 3:00 pm

Art, whether visual, aural, or language-based, offers a window to empathy much needed in conversations of immigration. Join Danielle Wetmore, Director of Education at Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation, to learn how art saved the Immigration Station on Angel Island along with making past to present connections with the history of immigration to the United States. We will explore themes of community, exclusion, resilience, and protest through the lenses of art and immigration.
