Peninsula Jewish Community Center Presents
What does it mean to pray for healing at this moment?
There have been many paths of physical, mental, and spiritual pain and suffering during the pandemic, from the personal to the global. As we move toward High Holidays 2022, join our community clergy to explore the prayers for healing and re-frame our aspiration of being written in the Book of Life.
At this year’s enthusiastically attended event, our local congregational rabbis, Jewish leaders, and our own Rabbi Laurie Matzkin explored the intentions and possibilities for deep personal and collective healing. The warmly and well received conversation among our Roundtable participants was authentic, deeply thoughtful, and illuminating about how Jewish wisdom from the Torah and the Talmud holds the prospects of healing our individual and collective bodies.
We invite you to watch and listen to this year’s presentation below.
If you are inspired by the thoughtful discourse and community-building that took place at The Roundtable, please consider making a gift today to continue your support of our community collaborations for deep Jewish impact.
