Amanda Loveland, an impassioned marketer with over two decades of diverse experience, is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center (PJCC). Amanda blends her unwavering commitment and industry dynamism to reshape organizations focused on enhancing the human experience. Her marketing journey, characterized by substantial involvement in the nonprofit and tech sectors, is propelled by her inherent drive to improve accessibility in every aspect of life.
Amanda’s leadership at the PJCC exemplifies her commitment to enhancing community experiences. She navigates the complexities of community engagement, intertwining her profound understanding of marketing tools with her fervor for user experience. Amanda’s vision extends beyond her role at PJCC; she has also offered her marketing expertise to numerous Bay Area Jewish organizations, including Kehillah Jewish High School and Jewish Silicon Valley among others.
Before taking the helm at the PJCC, Amanda managed marketing at an impact investment firm that was focused on closing the wealth gap through financial innovation. Ever curious, she has developed a reputation as a “martech geek,” leveraging cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence to optimize the marketing tech stack.
Her Jewish community experience is diverse and expansive. She dedicated eight years to the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley (now Jewish Silicon Valley), contributing to programming, fundraising, and marketing efforts. Her scholarly pursuits have also focused on the intersection of her community and profession. Amanda holds a graduate degree in Nonprofit Management from Gratz University and has been honored with several awards and fellowships, including the Bernard Rodkin Professional Development Israel Fellowship and the Rabbi Joel S. and Sylvia Mintz Geffen Prize in Contemporary Jewish Studies.
In addition to being deeply engaged in her professional endeavors, Amanda finds joy and fulfillment in her personal life. Residing in Sunnyvale, California, Amanda’s downtime often mirrors the warmth of her sunny home state. Whether it’s baking with her children, engaged in a board game, or partaking in a friendly game of cornhole in her backyard, Amanda never strays too far from her local roots. And if she’s not engaged in one of these activities, you’ll likely find her immersed in a good book or a crossword puzzle with a steaming cup of coffee in hand.
Passionate, innovative, and with an unwavering commitment to bettering communities, Amanda blends a deep well of experience with an enthusiastic spirit. As she continues to lead at the PJCC and beyond, her ultimate goal remains clear: to create more accessible, engaging, and transformative experiences for everyone.
