Applesauce is a classic accompaniment to latkes (potato pancakes), which are a staple during Hanukkah. Jelly doughnuts (sufganiyot) are another popular treat during Hanukkah. Both applesauce and jam can enhance your Hanukkah festivities with their delicious flavors and versatility.
Instructor: UC Master Food Preserver Program extends UC research-based information about home food safety and preservation to the public. The program is an example of an effective partnership between the UC Division and passionate volunteers. Its mission is to safely preserve food in the home, reducing food waste, increasing food security, and providing engaging ways for Californians to explore healthy food.
