Chama Mechtaly attended college at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts in the United States, studying conflict resolution and international relations. There, she became intrigued on the Jewish concept of tikkun olam and to aid in building peaceful relations between Muslim and Jewish communities in the Middle East. We are lucky that her multimedia art will fill our Gallery this fall.
