Join Jacqueline Shelton as she shares the journey of her mother from Nazi Germany to the UK and beyond. The Kindertransport was a rescue mission that brought close to ten thousand Jewish children to the United Kingdom in the nine months before the outbreak of World War II. Jacqueline serves on the board of the Kindertransport Association (KTA), a nonprofit organization working to connect survivors of the Kindertransports, their families, and their descendants. The KTA educates and informs the public about the Kindertransport and Holocaust, and supports and advocates for child refugees and children in need today.
