Jon Mays has worked as a journalist on the Peninsula since 1997 and at the San Mateo Daily Journal since its founding in 2000. The Daily Journal is an independently owned daily newspaper covering San Mateo County.
As a San Francisco native, Jon has a Master of Fine Arts in writing from the University of San Francisco (USF). He was also the president of the San Francisco Peninsula Press Club.
