The Marketing department both collaborates with and supports all the various areas within the PJCC, and we want to help you succeed.

Logos: Quickly download our logo for use on documents, or when a partnering organization requests our logo.

Use of the color logo is preferred. Use white when placing on a colored background.
Use the logo (PJCC with arc and full name) when providing to other organizations.

✅ Tip: PNG files have transparent backgrounds so that they can be placed without a background color behind them. If an organization requires a JPEG file, please contact Marketing.

✅ Tip: When you click on these files, the logos will appear in a new tab on your browser. To save the image, right click on the image, select “Save image as…” and save the image to your documents folder.

Please contact the graphic design team or marketing director for assistance with placing other organization’s logos on your documents.

Flyer Templates: All departments will find newly designed flyer templates in MS Word. There are templates for flyers with an image, and flyers without an image.

✅ Tip: Think about your audience and not your department when choosing a flyer. If your program or event makes more sense using another heading, then do so. However, be sure to be consistent with Class or TRec so members and guests can easily find it on the website too.

✅ IMPORTANT: Do not take images from the internet for use in flyers. Images have legal copyrights attached and unless you have explicit permission or have paid for the image, it is not allowable. Use free sites such as pexels.com, unsplash.com, pixabay.com, or freeimages.com. You can also search Google images using Tools –> Usage rights –> labeled as reuse with modification.

✅ Do not use licensed names, images, or characters (e.g., Mickey Mouse, Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Harry Potter), as there are legal copyrights associated with these as well.

✅ With the new templates, all departments are required to utilize these for your flyers. If you haven’t used templates before, we are happy to assist you to ensure your flyers look acceptable. New guidelines include:

Create Your Flyer

Download your template. If you cannot find a specific department flyer, please contact marketing.
Use the existing layout on the templates. Each template has text boxes set up—simply type over the sample text.
Use our established fonts (Lato, Source Sans Pro, and Sabon)
If you do want to create a different layout, please follow our brand guidelines.
Here are suggested guidelines:

Headline: Lato/ Bold/ 30pt/Red
Body copy: Source Sans Pro/ Regular/ 18pt
Register info: Source Sans Pro/ Bold/ 14pt

After Your Flyer is Complete

Run spellcheck and be sure to proof it carefully!
Print 20 copies for the marketing flyer display in the BAC hallway or lobby kiosk
Provide the copies to Debbie Frink or Peter Kulmars
Place the completed flyer file on Common drive — S:\Flyer Templates\Completed-Expired Flyers\ <Your Department>

Zoom Backgrounds

We have four Zoom backgrounds available for your use during meetings.

To download the Zoom background of your choice, click on the title of the background you wish to use. The image will open in a new window. Right-click on the background, and choose “Save image as…” to save the background to your computer.

You will then need to add the image to your Zoom account. Learn how to add a Virtual Background to your Zoom account. If you are using a shared PJCC Zoom account, please use the background as appropriate to the program or event.

Customize your LinkedIn profile with a PJCC Background Photo. Choose from one of five designs.

To download the photo of your choice, click on the title of the background you wish to use. The image will open in a new window. Right-click on the background, and choose “Save image as…” to save the background to your computer.

Business Card Orders: You can now reorder business cards directly using a new online tool provided by our vendor. Review the simple instructions and contact Debbie Frink once you place your order or if you have any questions about the process.

Staff Email Signature: All staff are requested to use our standard email signature.

Download the Word document and select and copy the entire page.
In Outlook, go to File > Options > Mail and choose Signatures.
Paste the signature file.
Insert your name, title, and phone number.
On a PC, highlight your name and title and select the font Lato. Macs will read this automatically.
Click OK.
When there is a special or temporary tagline used in the signature, you may replace wellness your way^TM with the tagline.

Through staff and member profiles, we can give a “shoutout” to the many wonderful ways in which people contribute to an overall sense of community & belonging at the PJCC. And, through testimonials, we can talk about the value of what we offer, in the words of our own members & program participants.
