Register for Hebrew as a Second Language
Our Hebrew as a Second Language program for 1st-4th graders offers classes for non-fluent Hebrew speakers. Students review the Hebrew alphabet, vowels, punctuation and reading through direct instruction, games, songs, and stories. Students also learn about the Jewish holidays and Israeli culture through interactive and dynamic activities. Beginner readers will learn Hebrew language skills to help with the first steps of language acquisition in an engaging and creative environment appropriate for this age group. This is a great class for students who hear Hebrew at home but are not yet conversant in the language.
