Specialty Classes

Ballroom Dance Fundamentals
Next Four-Part Series: Fridays, May 26 and June 2, June 9, and 23 at 4:30 pm
Members: $30 Drop-In/$100 Series
Non-Members: $40 Drop-In/$140 Series

Burn calories as you boogie… don’t miss our final Ballroom Dance Fundamentals series! During this fun, but challenging class, you’ll learn to dance the basic steps and skills of ballroom dances such as Salsa, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Tango, and more. Our instructor Kori trained and performed extensively as a ballroom dancer in Japan before chasséing her way to the United States.

Please note: This group exercise class takes its inspiration from ballroom dance, and incorporates many of its steps and moves, but it is not a true ballroom dance class. Wear standard fitness clothing; no special clothes or shoes required. Registration and payment is required before the class. Sign up on the schedule below.

TRX Bootcamp with Master Trainer Christian Luera

Mobility Training with Master Trainer Christian Luera

Want to reduce tightness, relieve muscle pain, and feel the joy of motion? This light-intensity, no-impact class will give your body the movement it craves. Christian Luera will take you through a full-body mobility routine that will loosen and strengthen all the commonly tight muscles from your neck to your feet.

Flow and Let Go: Yoga and Osteopathic Workshop with Anat and Stephania
Sunday, June 25 • 1:30-4:30 pm • $90 Center Members/$100 Public

During this three-hour workshop, you will learn how to practice letting go by connecting to your body via meditation, mindful yoga, and osteopathic manipulation. Anat and Stephania have designed this mini half-day retreat to help you feel your diaphragm, learn about your nervous system, your brain and your fight and flight response. You will learn how to gain control over your own physiology and pick up resources and tools you can use yourself at home.
