Thank You to Those who Joined Us for Our PJCC Spring Celebration!
Our Spring Celebration provided an opportunity to appreciate all those who make our mission-driven work possible. In sharing our impact, guests created snow globes in conjunction with our environment-themed art exhibit; tasted a selection of cheeses to experience Shavuot; and created six-word memoirs while exploring legacy giving, among other activities. The program highlighted the PJCC’s role in the community and showcased our new Infant/Toddler Program as an example of how the PJCC, in service to our mission, identifies an unmet need in the community, utilizes our expertise to develop a solution, and partners with community organizations and funders to make it a reality. Thank you to our ECE leadership team, our families, our Infant/Toddler program teachers, and our funding partner, EarlyJ, for sharing in our celebration.
Throughout the evening, nearly 200 guests enjoyed a selection of live jazz performed by Smith Dobson’s Jazz Quartet, food stations by Esposto’s Fine Foods, a selection of beer Fieldwork alongside wine and soft drinks, and festive cupcakes from Kathy’s Kreative Cakes. A silent auction, featuring items from travel to fine jewelry to sports, offered something for everyone!
We also learned about the impact of financial assistance on families such as Oded Lipshitz’s, who moved with his wife and four children to the Bay Area from Israel this past summer. Your support is life-changing for families and participants across our programs.
If you haven’t done so already, please help us reach our $20,000 goal and make your contribution to the PJCC’s Y.E.S. (Youth to Elder Support) Fund to ensure our programs – from preschool to fitness – are accessible for all.
Thank you – todah rabah – to all of our guests for making this such a memorable evening!
Support the Y.E.S. Fund – Help Us Reach Our Goal!
Annually, the PJCC awards nearly $500,000 in scholarships and financial aid, ensuring broad access to our enriching programs. Your contribution to the Y.E.S. (Youth to Elder Support) Fund empowers individuals of all ages, from our youngest members to our esteemed elders, to experience transformative programs at PJCC. Your support is a heartfelt YES to our community’s growth and well-being.
