Iftar: Recommitting to Kindness
Thursday, March 28
Peninsula Temple Sholom, Burlingame
6:00 PM musical program | 6:30 PM panel discussion | 7:30 PM break fast and dinner
This is the Muslim month of Eid. Celebrate the daily break-fast with a multifaith community at Peninsula Temple Sholom. Clergy from the Abrahamic traditions (Muslim, Jewish, Christian) will participate in a panel conversation on the theme of recommitting to kindness, especially in today’s times. After the conversation we will break the fast with traditional foods of dates and challah, followed by a communal dinner. Complimentary, but registration is required. All are welcome. RSVP here by March 22.
Co-sponsored by Peninsula Temple Sholom, the Pacifica Institute, and the Peninsula Jewish Community Center.
